Ash
Joined AREVA RMC in November 2006 after completing an MSc in Physics and Technology of Nuclear Reactors. Since joining us, Ash has been involved in a wide range of waste management and environmental projects, including a BPEO for the decommissioning of a radioactive pipeline and a study on radioactive discharges from various nuclear reactors around the world.
Matthew
Joined AREVA RMC in 2005 after completing an MSc in the Physics and Technology of Nuclear Reactors. Since joining the team at AREVA RMC, Matthew has been involved in a number of projects, both in the UK and in France, including the preparation of safety cases, deterministic safety assessment, probabilistic safety assessment and running Monte Carlo codes for criticality and shielding analysis.
Richard
is a Section Manager with AREVA RMC. He joined in December 2001 as a new graduate following completion of his BSc (Hons) degree in Chemistry at the University of Durham. Richard has spent much of his time at Atomic Weapons Establishment on a variety of projects, including preparation of the Core Decommissioning Safety Case which provides a suite of generic radiological and non-radiological assessments for facilities approaching their decommissioning phase.
Tom
is a Principal Consultant and Section Manager with over 10 years experience in the nuclear industry. He joined the AREVA RMC Cumbria Office in October 2005. Since then he has been providing safety case support to a variety of projects on the Sellafield site. Previously he was employed for two years as a Senior Project Health Physicist on a nuclear licensed site manufacturing radioactive medical products. Prior to this he worked for a consultancy for 7 years, initially specialising in shielding assessments then working on wider radiological safety assessments and safety cases, gaining experience through involvement in a large number of projects for a variety of clients on different nuclear licensed sites. Tom has a BSc (Hons) degree in Physics.
Lucy
is a Section Manager with AREVA RMC, having joined in September 2000 after working for BNFL for 2.5 years. Prior to this she completed a BEng (Hons) degree in Chemical Engineering at Strathclyde University. Since joining AREVA RMC she has produced radiological safety assessments for wide variety of plants and operations on the Sellafield Site. She has also had the opportunity to carry out work at most major UK nuclear sites.
