Activity:

RM Consultants Ltd (RMC) assisted a major nuclear client to develop a document to produce an annual project status review for each project within the Radwaste Operations, Decommissioning and Environmental Restoration Departments and future ten-year plan. The review report outlined why work is undertaken, their key drivers, and the methods used to identify and prioritise projects within each department.

A brief summary of each project was collated. Details included a review of project objectives, part performance, financial and manpower resource requirements and major project risks. In addition, the document identified the future projects that would require definition in the next ten-years. The amount of solid radioactive waste to arise from decommissioning, waste management or environmental restoration projects was estimated.

Project, Departmental and Corporate risks were outlined. Potential areas for development and improvement were recommended.
