RMC was acquired by AREVA, one of the world's leading nuclear companies in 2008. The purchase of RMC has enabled AREVA to acquire further strategic expertise in the areas of nuclear safety and environmental assessment. This acquisition confirms Areva's strong development strategy in the UK.

AREVA RMC will operate as an independent UK subsidiary. There will be no significant change to the working relationship between RMC and its clients.
