This work assists companies to improve their safety and environmental performance and is needed to demonstrate compliance with the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act, the Environmental Protection Act and other Health and Safety and Environmental legislation. AREVA RMC is one of the UK’s leading firms of consultants in the assessment of safety and environmental risks.

We are also experienced in the assessment of protection systems against the requirements of IEC 61508/61511, including analysis of potential accident scenarios to determine the required Safety Integrity Level of the protection system and assessment of the integrity level achieved by hardware and software. We have undertaken research for the HSE in support of the formulation of IEC 61508 and in the field of machinery safeguarding.
