Projects have included:

CAA (Safety Regulation Group) Determination of risk criteria for stands located close to the overrun area of an arrivals runway.

CAA. Research study investigating the completeness and accuracy of bird strike reporting, and assessing the level of safety risk and economic cost to the industry.

UK regional/ international airport. Risk assessment of RFFS provisions and procedures in the event of an aircraft crash into the adjacent estuary. AREVA RMC facilitated a structured hazard identification session between the airport operator, air operators and the various marine and land-based emergency services, and analysed the results to provide an informed basis for decisions about improvements.

UK regional/ international airport. Risk assessment of proposed runway reconfiguration options, especially the balance between meeting RESA and other safeguarding requirements and public safety. Support in presentation and discussions with the CAA.

Confidential clients. Advice to developers in UK and Ireland regarding public safety risks to proposed new residential developments in the vicinity of major airports.
